A Recipe In One Hand and A Bucket of Popcorn In the Other

Tonight is our first family movie night!  Our son, "Button" is two and a half and LOVES Phineas and Ferb and tonight the Disney Channel is showing their movie.  He is so excited.  We bought special popcorn and Target had these little Phineas and Ferb buckets that were perfect for Button's popcorn.  In the time leading up to the movie I wanted to get something in the oven for Darling Husband (DH) to take to work tomorrow.  He's a firefighter who's been on light duty for the last week after suffering a small injury last week.  So I thought it would be nice for him to bring something in for the guys.  So, after looking through my repertoire of recipes I found a recipe from the Betty Crocker website for Creme Brulee Cheesecake bars (click here for recipe).  Perfect!  The recipe was so easy.  I wished I had taken pictures of the process.  The whole house smells like cheesecake right now :-)  I only made one small change to the recipe.  It calls for toffee bits and I could only find Heath Bar bits.  So now we have Chocolate Creme Brulee Cheesecake bars!!  The bars are now cooling I can't wait to cut them into actual bars and see what they look like.  They need to cool for a few hours so I'll take pictures in the morning and add them later.
On a side note.  Button is sitting here totally engrossed in the movie.  He LOVES it!!
