I was walking through JoAnn Fabrics the other day and like I do every time I'm in there I HAD to swing by the sewing machine department and look, I mean drool over their embroidery machines.
I want one. I want one so bad!
But, it's a little pricey on a one income family to spend that kind of money just like that. So, I have come up with the solution :-) If I can shave twenty five dollars from my grocery budget every week then by this time next year I should have what I need to get a nice machine. That's the plan anyway. Wish me luck!
I read somewhere that you shouldn't apologize for not posting on your blog. I can't help it. I wanted this blog. I named it. I posted a few times and then I got lazy. I apologized once before because it seemed like the right thing to do (even though I doubt anyone reads this).
I'm going to change things a bit. I don't get to cook or bake as much as I'd like to. I DO get to spend everyday with my wonderful children. We do a LOT (the reason why I don't get to cook/bake as much as I'd like) so I'm going to post about our life. The fun activities that we do and (when I get a chance) the great food that we make.
With the new year comes new resolutions. I went out and bought an organizer in the hopes that I can be, well, a little more organized. We'll see if it helps. Maybe if I get organized I can cook and bake more. There are SO many great recipes out there that I'm just dying to try and review. Keep your fingers crossed for me :-)
